    Description

    Offered for auction a wonderful antique Fairbanks cast iron with brass components postal style 16 ounce single beam scale, measuring just over 9 1/2 inches long overall by 4 1/2 inches long at the base by 3 5/16 inches wide at the base by 4 3/4 inches wide 3 5/16 inches long at top plate. This scale features brass components top plate and beam with counterbalance, two color pinstriping. Condition good used with brass plate having been re-soldered (note upward dent to top brass plate) yet still retaining 99% of original japanning to the lower cast iron parts. Clearly marked as can be seen in photos.
