I could not bear to just throw this away ! As you can see it has come apart and is in rough shape, including the inside.
I think this could be restored or repurposed, maybe by a crafter or jewelry designer
Pretty sure this is from the late 1800’s, is mother of pearl shell and maybe shark skin red interior. I am not an expert so please do your own due diligence.
