    Description

    Antique Shell Coin Purse~Hinged Lid~MOP.
    This little purse or hinged box is made of shell, metal & a plastic base.
    The approximate measurements are 2-1/8" h x 2-3/8" w x 1-3/8" d
    The off white shell has some pretty mother of pearl iridescence.
    There is a little hinged lid on top and a couple of loops on the sides for a chain.
    The underside looks like plastic.  Some of the shell has pulled away from the base leaving a little gap/opening.
    There is no chain.
    I think rhis piece is c. 1910's
