40 acre placer mining claim on the Middle Fork Feather River. Located approximately 40 miles from Oroville, California. This river is known for excellent gold. Fines, flakes and nuggets.
Some as large as potatoes. We have found nuggets on this claim when we did some dredging back in 2008. We have done manual mining and still finding nice gold. There are lots of great areas to work including a huge gravel bar and lots of river front.
The river runs through the claim for approximately 1/4 mile. Lots of area for panning, sluicing etc... Good access right to the river via a walking trail off of the main dirt road. Large size camping area near the river. Lots of shade trees and area for equipment. This river is not dammed up and gold washes down from higher elevations every winter when the rains come. This should continue every year thus supplying new gold onto this claim.
Claim is in the Plumas National Forest. You will get the mineral rights to the land but you will not own the land. I will file a quit claim deed after payment is made.
