    Nice Antique Victorian Leather Coin Purse, c.1880-1890
    DESCRIPTION:
    O
    riginal small antique Victorian leather coin purse.....scans show it. Nicely sewn around the leather top with very tiny stitches. The leather body is attached to a hinged metal clasp, very nicely made. The 2 sides of the hinged metal snaps together at the top so that nothing will spill out.
    Exc. Condition. They didn't carry coins in a pocket or large purse, butt small purses like this were common for coins.
    Original Victorian accessory from 1889-90, has a great look. Both leather and metal has a nice aged look and nice patina. A NICE ONE!!
    Great for a display, collection, use, OR TO GO WITH A RE-ENACTOR'S GROUP OF ITEMS  FOR A COSTUME OR IMPRESSION.
