Description
A sophisticated leather kisslock change purse in oxblood, or burgundy, by Etienne Aigner from the 1960's. It's in nice preowned condition with wear consistent with age and use. It measures approximately 1 7/8" tall, 2 1/2" including the kisslock, 3 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep.In the 1930's, Hungarian-born Etienne Aigner celebrated his first successes as a bag designer at the Paris Haute Couture shows. In 1965, Etienne Aigner and Heiner Rankl founded the Aigner company in Munich, where it still has its headquarters today.
